A Slovenian first — and likely a world first. 🌍
At the rally event in Žalec, something happened that we don’t think has ever been done before: amateurs could compete against professional racers at the same time, on the same track.
The professionals drove real rally cars down the real stage.
Everyone else drove the exact same stage virtually — on the Quadra Performante, our motion simulator, running a custom-built map of Žalec accurate to 0.2 meters.
Same track. Same moment. One clock.
For years we’ve talked about closing the gap between simulation and reality. This is us putting that idea on the start line and letting the stopwatch decide.

Arriving at the scene – roar of rally cars all around – are we ready?
Just started setting up the simulators, curious bystanders stopping by and asking tons of questions, all boiling down to “oh wow, what is this, can we try”?
Eventhough our Quadra is built to be assembled in 20 minutes, there is Murphy’s Law – “Whatever can go wrong, will go wrong”.
But nothing stops us! A little bit later and first competitors are already on it – feeling the jumps, brakes, acceleration – focusing on the track of Žalec.
Kids, mothers and fathers, who turned into kids for a day.
“Excuse me sir, I don’t have a driving license. Can I still try?” – curious kids
Yes of course, everyone could compete and everyone did! Some needed a bit of assistance but everyone managed to experience what means to be a rally driver! Well at least virtually
Kids in the afternoon, a bit older kids (a.k.a their fathers) in the evening. Strategy? Perfecting every braking point – to get the fastest run.
And then… the pros have arrived – is the our virtual SS Žalec and Quadra Simulator “real” enough?
The highlight of the day? Best 3 rally drivers of the SS Žalec 2026, took the wheel once again. This time in the Quadra simulators and Žalec Rally Track, developed, built, tested and perfected in Slovenia.
This is it. The moment which decides whether we did a good job, or we need to go back to the drawing board. How did we do?
